PARKING in Hohenschwangau

The Alpsee car parking lot with numerous parked cars and several buildings - surrounded by a lush green, densely wooded natural backdrop.

The roads to Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castle are closed for public traffic.
Parking right next to the Ticket Center is not possible. We kindly ask you to use one of the surronding public parking areas.

There are 4 parking lots in the Hohenschwangau village:

P1 and P4: parking spaces for cars and buses 
P2: parking spaces for cars, mobile homes/campers and motorbikes
P3: parking spaces for cars and motorbikes

  • Please note that mobile homes/campers are only allowed to park in parking lot P2.
  • For disabled guests, there are three designated disabled parking spaces available in the P2 parking lot (subject to charge) in Hohenschwangau. 

Parking fees:

  • Cars (P1, P2, P3 and P4): € 12,00 for up to 6 hours, each add. hour € 1,00 (€ 16,00 max.).
  • Busses (P1 + P4): € 35,00 fee per day.
  • Mobile homes, campers (P2): € 16,00 for up to 6 hours, each add. hour € 2,00 (€ 20,00 max.).
  • Motorbikes (P2 + P3): € 5,00 fee per day.
