Location
Located below the castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau on the shores of the lake "Alpsee", this must be one of the most beautifully situated museums in Germany. A 21-metre long panorama window on the first floor permits a view of the lake surrounded by mountain peaks to the left, while on the right Hohenschwangau Castle can be seen up on the mountain.
