Our bath is fantastic situated on the Alpsee, surrounded by beautiful mountains and green forest.
In our "Alpseebad" you can spend a nice quiet day at the see, refresh yourself in crystal clear, clean seawater and just let your mind wander.
Relax on our beautiful green sunbathing lawns and enjoy the fantastic view of the royal castles.
Our bathing place has a large jetty, a swimming island and a kiosk.
The Alpseebad is about 10 minutes walk from the chargeable "Alpsee" parking area P4 (below Hohenschwangau Castle) away.
A kiosk belonging to the lakeside resort spoils guests with cool drinks, small snacks and coffee. But not only bathers are pampered here, cyclists or hikers on their lake tour can also enjoy refreshments on the kiosk terrace, which is covered, and are welcome guests.
Visit us at the kiosk! Access is free for all visitors. Entry fees for the lake are only required if you plan to use the lawn or go for a swim.
The Alpseebad is an oasis in the countryside away from the hustle and bustle. It offers relaxation, variety and unique bathing fun for all age groups. Everyone who comes here is enchanted by its fantastic location at the foot of the royal castles.

About a 10-minute walk from the paid Alpsee parking lot P4.
Opening hours:
Open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. only in good weather conditions. From September 01st open from 11 a.m. until 6.00 p.m.
Four-legged friends welcome in our Kiosk!
You are more than welcome to bring your dog to our kiosk area. We kindly ask for your understanding that the sunbathing lawn is reserved for our swimmers only.
