You can choose between the coach service (shuttle-bus) and the horse carriages:

They run independently according to the demand of the visitors, but without schedule. Please note that you are responsable for your own schedule. Start in front of Hotel Müller. Terminal horse-carriage-stop below castle Neuschwanstein. From there approximately 15 minutes walk uphill to the castle Neuschwanstein. The carriages run the whole year around.

Important Note:
The shuttle-bus is unsuitable for disabled visitors and physically handicapped people, since the path from the »Marienbrücke« (Mary's bridge) down to the Neuschwanstein castle is very steep.
Shuttle-busses only operate in suitable weather (no snow or ice).

Dogs are not allowed on the shuttle-bus.

You can also reach the Neuschwanstein castle by foot, just follow the signs.
