This site provides you with information for your visit of the Royal Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein Castles, as well as for the Museum of the Bavarian kings.

Tickets for the Royal Castles are available exclusively from the Ticket-Center. Tour number and time of entrance to the Castle are printed on the tickets.

The tickets for the museum are not time-bound.  You can move freely throughout the museum at your own pace and stay in the museum as long as you wish.

The entire museum is accessible without any barriers or obstacles for the physically disabled and visitors in wheelchairs.

Portable audio-guide devices in the following languages are available free of charge: German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Japanese and Mandarin. 

Museum tickets can be reserved in advance. There is no additional fee for the reservation of the Museum tickets.

The Ticket-Center is located below the Royal Castles in the village of Hohenschwangau

Visitors will receive detailed information on possible entrance times to the Royal Castles in the Ticket-Center. You will receive tickets with time of entrance to the castle noted on the ticket. This is the time when you are required to be at the turnstile where the Castle entrance is. Your ticket is only valid on the same day for the tour specified.

	Portable Audio Guide device

Tours are available in German and English or with an portable Audio Guide device. For Audio Guide tours you will receive the »Audio Guide« in the Castles and you will be assisted by your tour guide. These tours are available in Japanese, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Czech, Russian, Polish, Mandarin and Hungarian.

Furthermore there is Slovenian and Greek language but only in NEUSCHWANSTEIN CASTLE.

Parking in Hohenschwangau   There are four mumbered parking lots (P1, P2, P3 und P4) available in Hohenschwangau. No parking between 08:00 pm and 08:00 am.
